We have always crafted our unique crank knobs from this beautiful, local material. But its strength and hardness has made it unfeasible to use for the iconic veneers on our grinders… until now!
Comandante is proud to release a limited run of C40 Nitro Blade ‘Vintage Oak’ grinders in two categories: ‘Classic’ and ‘Royal’. All handcrafted by our team at HQ in Munich, they boast the rich, deep hue of smoked oak — the knob and veneer in a perfect pairing. The rare ‘Royal’ grinders all carry veneers handpicked by Comandante founder Bernd Braune for their particularly remarkable grain.
